Shadow Shot Sunday #25
My little girl has recently 'graduated' to a big bed. It is the most beautiful old cast iron bed that I blogged about here. We got it professionally re-coated, I made some flag/bunting things for the top and it all looks gorgeous (I'll post more pics later). She loves it but it's so high - almost as tall as she is - so she has a struggle to hop into bed, but heaven help anyone who tries to assist her (she is 2, afterall!).

Cast iron beds are lovely. A bugger to move though! Very sweet shadows. I like that your little girl is so independent already. That's great!
Hey I have to say that I'm a little confused about when you posted this. On my brisstyle fave bloggers list in my sidebar, it states you last updated your blog 6 days ago. I just today received a google alert email saying you've recently updated. I see that the post date is last Monday 12th. You Ali, are a tricky one! You're messin' with my head! You didn't enter your link in Mr Linky either. Maybe you forgot. Maybe you thought you were too late. Maybe you thought you were too early. Or maybe you couldn't be bothered ;) Whatever the reason I'm adding you now! So there! These were not the shadows I was expecting from Canberra...hehe. Maybe that's for the best. I really like these ones anyways.

Oh,gorgeous! You're lucky she likes her 'big girl' bed - I know a few 2 year olds who simply refused to let go of their cot!
Congratulations for your 2 year old's graduation to a bed. I'm hoping to buy a bed within the next month for my 2 year old. It's difficult to hold back from giggling at their oversized egos ;D
Graduated to a bed - now your troubles begin. She is now a free agent to wander to your bedroom in the middle of the night - lucky you! But what a beautiful bed - perhaps she loves it so much she won't want to move!
