Shadow Shot Sunday #27

Phew! What a week it's been! My 'big' boy started school for the first time, I started my new (pretty wonderful) job, we celebrated my brother's 30th and then my birthday and I met with the gorgeous Brisstyle committee girls. It's been a very full, exhausting fun week!

So, I thought a good Shadow Shot for this week would be of my boy going off on his first day of school.

Oh! he looked so cute, and was so proud of his new (big) uniform, hat and backpack. It was only when it was time for us to leave him at school that the tears started (his - not mine!!) ... oh his little face was so sad! But when 'home-time' rolled around he'd had so much fun that he wanted to stay at school!!

Happy Sunday everyone!
Thanks again to Hey Harriet for hosting Shadow Shot Sunday!

Hope you are still celebrating that birthday of yours! Your little boy looks so cute in his uniform (& yes it does look a tad large for him ;) A very sweet shadow shot! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

He is very cute :D I remembered my son when he started his first year last year. It was pure nightmare..he was the only one crying for 4 months. However, now he loves to go to school as its no fun playing with his 2 sisters at home. Love the SSS. Happy Sunday :D

I'm always sad when school comes 'round, it always means the end of summer. I remember those feelings still, I didn't much like school!

But what a sweet lil' trooper he is.

What an adorable little man you have! The first day can be kind of rough. One of those bitter sweet things. Glad you made it through!

Hello dear Ali,

Ohhh... he's gorgeous! Enjoy the time together. It's precious. My boy is soon 24 n the lil girl is soon 17 so, both havn't time for their old folk. Time is too quick.

U've got the perfect shadow of this Sunday so far. I do adore kids, so might the reason.

Hugs from a very cold city!

It is good taking photos on your child's first day even though things are so hectic. Memories might fade but you still have the photo. I did the same to my girls and glad I did.

Oooo ... don't you just want to hug him? What a little cutie. And I bet his backpack is bigger than he is.

It was good to share in your post-birthday celebrations at our BrisStyle meeting yesterday - hope you took the remainder of that birthday cake home in a poochie pouch!
