Shadow Shot #19

Happy Sunday everyone!
Firstly, thank you for all the lovely comments you left for my SSS #18 - it was nice seeing my picture through your eyes - I like it even more now!

This week's shot is taken on my walk to the train station once again. (I love the clarity of the spring morning air!) I had taken my camera with me to get a shot of the 'Keep Left' sign from last week because someone had run their car into it and it was looking rather different! (I thought it would be an interesting progression of shots... ) BUT, the good 'ol Brisbane City Council had it fixed up before I could get a shot!! (just my luck!) So here's this one of the trees along the road instead!

Head on over to Hey Harriet's blog to see more great Shadow Shots!

Happy Sunday everyone - and don't forget to head over to the BrisStyle blog (if you haven't already) to go in the running to win one of THREE very special packs of BrisStyle goodies - what a very special start to Christmas that would be!!

I'm enjoying your walks to work Ali! That's a great shot! I'm impressed that the BCC acted so quickly in fixing the sign! And shocked! Ususally they take a while to get around to things like that... Pity they beat you to it, but I love this shot anyways.

I didn't realise that you'd posted early (didn't come through as a google alert...sometimes doesn't) so I'll pop your link in Mr Linky now.

And a very happy birthday to your little one. Hope you guys have a wonderful day celebrating :)

Great idea you had to show us an update of the road sign. To tell a dramatic tale such as a car crash through the after shots. Pictures are forming in my head... I'm glad for you nice tree lined street shadow shot! Have a super Sunday!

Thank you for solving a great mystery. We have been wondering why the road widening works out our way have taken nearly two years and now we know. They have been too busy fixing bent street signs!

I love your shot, but I can understand your frustration at not having the errant sign in place.

I hope your toddler party went well and you had many happy revellers there to help your little one blow out her two candles.

This is a great Shadow Shot. I love how the shadows are so crisp. Too bad about your city being sooo efficient!
