Shadow Shot #16

Happy Spring Sunday everyone!
This week's shot was taken on my morning walk to catch the train this week. I love the early mornings, particularly now that spring is here; the air is so clear and the sky seems so big. And I love my walk to the station - it's like this little avenue of trees all the way ... and I have my iPod on so I can block the busy road right alongside me!

Head on over to the fabulous Hey Harriet for more Shadow Shots!
Happy Sunday!

Your leaves are popping on and our leaves are falling off! Enjoy your spring. Such pretty shadows, what a lovely little canopy to walk under.

What a lovely walkway! I too am enjoying the fresh growth of Spring everywhere! And the shadows of the new growth make it all seem so wonderful and inspiring!

Lovely spring shadows and on the other side of the world, in Canada, we are enjoying autumn shadows. It looks like a lovely walk.

I love this photo Ali. It speaks of everything I love about living in Brisbane. How fantastic that you get to walk this street so often :)

Oh, yes, a lovely shadowed walk! Ours in the U.S. are cold shadows now.

Beautiful shadow shot Ali! Reminds of the sidewalks of my youth. :)

We're finally experiencing fall type weather here.

Wishing you a good week! xo

Sweet! I wish my walk to work was as beautiful as yours! It's a lovely way to start the day. I walk along a main road, past hideous shopping centres, construction sites, a gazillion cranes etc... nothing pleasant about my walk :(

And my co-workers wonder why I'm so crabby when I arrive to work! ;D

Early morning shadows are just the most pure, unaltered by the pollution of the day, nice walk.

How peaceful your walk looks. I find it interesting to view how truly opposite our seasons are. Just how large this planet Earth must be is hard for my brain to comprehend. One side note which brings us, you and I, closer in an instant on this large planet of ours, is that I am an Ali too! Short for Alissa.

Happy walks!

What a beautiful shot, Ali. As a work colleague of my husband said when we first arrived in Brisbane back in the Eighties, "Why would you want to live anywhere else?"

It reminds me of walking to school as a child, the trees overhead forming the canopy, lovely image
