twenty-four months

My little girl turns TWO in less than two weeks (and time flies by...). On the weekend she was very lucky to receive an early birthday present from her auntie and uncle. It included this gorgeous wall hanging/mobile:

Isn't it so pretty and girlie?! Her auntie sells these in her etsy shop masalachai and although she hasn't had any sales from etsy yet, she has had loads of orders from friends (I think that's why her shop's empty at the moment!). They are really sweet little things and Emily's looks so pretty in her room - what a lucky girl!

Now I have to put my thinking hat on to decide on what sort of special birthday cake to make for my girl ... stay tuned!!

Happy birthday Emily! Two is just the best age, isn't it? Their vocabulary goes ahead in leaps and bounds and their imagination is incredible.

What a delightful early birthday gift. Perhaps you could model the birthday cake on it - only 5 cakes!

That's a very sweet gift! lucky Emily! I'll not wish Emily an early happy birthday, and will hold off on the birthday wishes until the cake post. Which I'm looking forward to :)

I checked out the shop. When you said empty I didn't realise you meant EMPTY ;) I liked the shop announcement at least :D

Emily is very lucky to receive such a beautiful present. There must have been a lot of work go into the mobile. It is just lovely. I hope you enjoy the birthday preperations. I'm sure you'll have a great time, two is a fantastic age for fun.

Ooooh, I'd been eyeing these off as well...was thinking about getting them for Christmas. In the end I decided to go with some prints from Amanda with the kids' names on them instead, but now I'm thinking that these might have to get a looksie too. They're just SOOOOOOO gorgeous!!!! Happy Birthday little Emily :D
